Global Project Financing Group has become a recognized full service lender in complex emerging markets, i.e. Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, Central America, CIS countries and former states of the Soviet Union. After 8 years of development, Global Project Financing Group’s lending programs are designed to provide immediate, workable platforms for Borrowers and their respective foreign capital needs. Project Financing

Global Project Financing Group offers project finance customized to the Borrower’s domestic environment and evaluates three key levels of criteria: investment value, organizational structure and financial requirements. First, Global Project Financing Group makes an independent investment evaluation involving the profitability of the industrial asset or project. Global Project Financing Group then works with Borrowers to evaluate the organizational structure of the project, if needed, to create an independent entity to own and manage the project. Finally, Global Project Financing Group works with Borrowers to structure debt financing that is consistent with the project’s repayment capacities and operating cash flows.

Global Project Financing Group focuses on the following types of industrial projects: infrastructure, power generation, oil refineries, natural gas and telecommunications. Global Project Financing Group also provides Borrowers assistance in sourcing U.S. manufactured equipment, such as aircraft, agricultural machinery, off-shore vessels, energy related equipment, medical and pharmaceutical equipment. Non-industrial start-up ventures are also considered and are evaluated based on merit.

Short term and medium term financing is structured for projects with repayment terms of 180 days to ten years. Renewals, extensions and prepayment are available options. Adjustable and fixed interest rates are available for cash flow sensitive periods and loan terms are tailored to the project’s repayment abilities.

Global Project Financing Group provides corporate finance advisory services to its clients, including expert advice on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, strategic alliances, leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations and fairness opinions. Global Project Financing Group’s services begin in the initial phases of formulating a corporate finance strategy, and continue through negotiation, structure and execution.

Global Project Financing Group also provides advice on corporate positioning in the emerging markets, including assistance in client’s financial communications to the emerging markets. Equity Investment
“the final piece to most project financings”

Global Project Financing Group will consider arranging through third party equity investments for projects that either Global Project Financing Group is financing or stand alone facilities through separate engagement arrangements. Equity investments can be in the format of syndications or single investor facilities providing the Borrower options as to the level of participation and return on profits.

These investors are secured by Global Project Financing Group in their capacities to participate in the project risks on medium and long term basis, with agreed project IRR with the project sponsors, along with adding credit enhancement to the over all debt facilities.

Global Project Financing Group has been successful in finding equity investor(s) for power generation facilities, oil and gas processing and telecommunications and continues to expand this service to other commercial and industrial projects developing in emerging markets.

Export & Import Bank Programs

Global Project Financing Group supports ExIm Bank’s medium and long term comprehensive guarantee programs. Financing can be arranged for export, import and project financing involving U.S. companies exporting to Emerging Market countries.

The program at Global Project Financing Group is supported by an internally trained ExIm staff which provides support and quick transaction processing, needed for accessing U.S. capital goods, equipment and services. Global Project Financing Group has also initiated multilateral agency services (i.e. OPIC, MIGA, IFC, ERBD, IDB, the Asian Development Bank and the African Development Bank) on a case-by-case basis for supporting complex industrial and infrastructure projects.

Loan Placement and Business Plans

Having a dazzling business plan is essential for receiving a loan. Most lenders won't give the project a second glance if the business plan doesn't have a lot of thought and planning into it. The layout must be perfect, the financials need to be in line with the norm and they must be consistent throughout the plan.
